People hit and get hit on a daily basis for countless different reasons: all under individual circumstances. The dynamic between hitter and hittee, however, is typically the common ground in all scenarios: the hitter initiates an act of violence, to which the hittee can respond with a counter-attack or resignation.

What happens when this dynamic is turned on its head? How do the nature of the act and its effect on those involved change when the hittee solicits an unprovoked punch or slap to the face through a contractual agreement?

Who’s the victim now?
