dirty laundry is an artwork centred around perceptions, relationality and our inherently multifaceted nature.
clothing plays a large role in the communication of our identity.
identity itself is a complex, fluid concept constituted by ourselves in relation to others, as well as the self behind closed doors.
this artistic endeavour expands on these ideas with a series of t-shirts.
each t-shirt is one-off artwork made and worn by the artist as an act of "airing of one's dirty laundry".
it complicates the division between public and private domains by adhering to the language of slogan t-shirts whilst subverting their conventional content.
